As part of our meta project, we were required to create a short video introducing our final project. I created a platform that one could use to learn more about the provenance of the products we buy. By using blockchain technology, I proposed creating a system of tracking every aspect of the supply chain - from the name of the farmer who grew the raw materials , to what shopping centre is ended up in - and making this public knowledge. This type of transparency was and is currently unheard of in our capitalist culture. It was my belief that if we designed capitalism in the first place, we had the ability to redesign consumption, ethically.
